Harriet Brown BSc (hons) MCPod.
Harriet has been with us since qualifying at Cardiff Met in 2017. She has long had an interest in how the human body works, and qualified in Massage Therapy in 2008.
During her Podiatry degree, she completed a Research Project in Biomechanics (how humans move and walk). She was awarded the Huntleigh Prize for academic excellence within the department at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Prior to training in Podiatry, she studied English Literature, French and German. She taught English in Germany for several years and continues to visit there regularly to see friends. She enjoys every opportunity to speak French and German. She subsequently organised exchange programmes between the schools here and in France, Quebec and Germany.
Outside work, she enjoys country walks, swimming and singing. She is training in a form of coaching called Focusing. On fine days she’ll be gardening or volunteering at a local community orchard.

Jonathan joins us with a wealth of varied experience and knowledge. Jonathan trained in
Podiatry at the Durham School in 1993 and was one of the first cohort to attain an honours
degree in Podiatry. He has interest in sport and footwear; also the surfaces and activities
that people spend their leisure and work time using. Due to a wealth of healthcare and
commercial knowledge, within the NHS and industry, he enjoys working around problems
and offering solutions. His clinical skills and clarity of explanation tailored to individuals,
helps people to make choices for their benefit and treatments to fit their needs.
He has a family and enjoys spending time with them and watching sport, but also keeping fit
and playing when he can.
